Meet Rachel Cales – Helping Children Grow in Faith!
Rachel Cales welcomes all of God’s children with open arms and is excited to help them grow spiritually, not only during Sunday lessons but also by equipping them to walk with Jesus in their daily lives!
A Grove City native, Rachel has fond memories of attending church with her grandparents. Her grandmother, the choir director, played a big role in showing her how to shine Jesus’s light—and now Rachel is passionate about doing the same for the next generation.
She graduated with high honors from Grove City High School in 2006, then continued her education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. There, she earned a double major in Business Management and Human Resource Management, with a minor in Economics. During her time at IUP, she served as Treasurer of the Business Management Club and was part of the Eberly College of Business Strategic Planning Committee.
Rachel married her husband Brian in 2014, and together they have three wonderful children: Rosabella, Roland, and Remington—as well as a lovable golden doodle named Penelope. As a family, they enjoy traveling, camping, and making memories outdoors. Rachel is also a fitness enthusiast, an encourager at heart, enjoys crafting, and loves baking healthy sweet treats to share.
With a deep love for children and a heart for ministry, Rachel considers it a true privilege to be used by Jesus to help others grow in faith. She is excited to lead and assist fun, meaningful learning experiences through Sunday School, Kid Worship, Middler Nights, VBS, the Christmas Pageant, and Prayer Buddies.
Rachel’s goal is to help nourish and support children and families in building a vibrant, lasting relationship with Jesus Christ.
Let’s grow in faith—together!
